Our company name is derived from the region of our family heritage: Bourgogne, France or Burgundy in English. Likewise, our design style reflects a European influence that results in designs that blend warm living spaces with a sophisticated elegance- showpiece homes well suited for entertaining while retaining the essence of warmth and ease. Since 1995, we have been building homes in the Treasure Valley with the same precision and care that we would use to build our own home. An innovative approach to residential design has rewarded us with numerous numerous awards and honors. 	Christian Bourguignon, Owner/General Contractor/Design Consultant Christian has a passion for creative home design, and is relentless in his pursuit of quality construction. Well known throughout the Treasure Valley for integrating exacting quality with distinctive designs and architectural details, he draws on a history unique to the industry. Christian earned a B.S. in Business Management from University of California at Berkeley, but quickly discovered a preference for building homes rather than business portfolios. After studying architecture at the Sorbonne in Paris, he apprenticed with a residential builder in San Francisco, and then moved on to project management for a large commercial developer in the Bay area. Prior to founding Burgundy Homes in 1995, Christian worked for US Bank in land acquisition and construction management. He holds a Registered Master Builder designation from the Idaho Building Contractors Association. Terra Bourguignon, Owner/Designer Winner of numerous design awards, Terra turns houses into beautiful retreats that reflect the client’s personal style. From the smallest details to wall finishes and landscaping, she offers a wealth of creative ideas that enhance flow and form throughout. She is constantly inspired by worldwide travel and industry shows, and is familiar with the latest in fixtures and finishes. Tracey draws on her 10 years of industry experience, as well as her Masters Degree in Business Administration, to provide a valuable resource to Burgundy Homes and our customers. Her accounting knowledge, along with her experience in residential construction, creates a stable flow of processing during the course of construction and ensures a smooth transaction for our clients. Tracey is dedicated to providing all of our clients with helpful and personal attention.
